Epidemiology is the study of diseases in human populations. In many situations, it is considered the gold standard for determining the relationship between exposures to certain toxicants and the potential for developing human disease.
Over the years, we have conducted a number of epidemiology studies that have successfully resolved contentious issues. More often, we have been called upon to review the published literature and analyze it using state-of-the-art techniques (including meta analysis) to characterize the hazards posed by specific toxicants or manufacturing practices.
